Heart of the Home Episode #7 "Please Be Quiet"

 Chocolate Addicts Bundt Cake

 

Bake at: 350 Degrees.    Serves 10-12

 

Grease generously, (every crook and cranny), then flour a bundt pan

 

Ingredients:

 

1-Devil’s Food Choc. cake mix

1-3.4oz. instant dark choc. pudding mix (Godiva)

1-3.4oz instant chocolate pudding mix (Jell-O)

4 large eggs

3/4 C vegetable oil

1 C sour cream

6oz. Semi-sweet chocolate chips, or as much as you want :)

 

Mix in a large bowl, all of the ingredients, except the chocolate chips.

Mix together for 2 min, until fluffy and light chocolate in color (scraping down sides and bottom with spatula, a few times in between mixing.)  

 

Pour half the batter into prepared Bundt pan, and sprinkle half the chocolate chips on top, I try to cover cake mix :)

 

Pour last of batter on top and then sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top, I try to cover cake mix :)

 

Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 min.  Making sure a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

 

Let sit in pan for 15 min. Turn out onto serving plate and cool completely.  (May be frozen in plastic wrap, tightly wrapped)

 

May also sift cocoa powder, lightly on top for decoration.

Topping: 2 T powdered Sugar, 1 T Cocoa powder sifted on top

Or a favorite chocolate frosting, or ganache! :)
