Slow Cooker Hamburger Soup with Macaroni

Ingredients:

4 1/2 C Water

2 C (16oz) beef broth

1 (28 oz)can crushed Tomatoes

1 (15oz) can whole kernel corn, undrained

3/4 C barley

2 stalks chopped celery

1 chopped, medium onion

1 cube beef bullion (or 1 tsp beef ‘Better than Bullion’)

1 tsp grnd paprika

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

1 Bay leaf

2 C elbow-(16oz)…. (or penne etc.) macaroni

1 T chopped fresh parsley (for topping)

Directions:

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown beef ‘till crumbly. Drain off excess grease, transfer to slow-cooker.

Add water, broth, tomatoes, corn, barley, celery, onion, bullion, paprika, Italian seasoning & bay leaf to slow cooker.

Cook on low for 6 hrs.

In separate pot, cook macaroni according to al-dente directions

Add to soup. Stir until combined and heated through.  

Garnish with parsley.

Season to taste with salt and pepper ……  Enjoy!
